The Shipyard Barth

The Barth Shipyard is a privately run, independent shipyard strategically located on the northeastern Baltic Sea coast.

Based on our more than 155-year history, the geographical location and equipment of the shipyard site as well as their specific skills – we have specialized in special areas of shipbuilding.

We mainly take care of repairs, overhauls and modernizations of government and civilian vessels/ship/boats.

We work competently with all our customers on the projects in order to be able to react flexibly to market changes at any time. In this way, we offer our customers, employees and partners a dynamic and future-oriented environment.

Our shipyard has all modern facilities necessary for the service and repair of ships of high quality and with an exceptional level of performance. Besides our all-wheel steering mobile ship lift (load capacity 180t), which is unique in this size on the German coast, we provide thermally insulated shipbuilding and factory halls as well as committed and highly qualified specialists, to be optimally positioned for the repair (possibly also new construction) of marine going units up to a length of 50 m.

With the expertise of our service team, we ensure that the performance of your ship can be maintained throughout its entire life cycle.
